This healthy, protein-packed tuna dip will only take 5-minutes to make and is great for an easy snack or quick lunch.

Tuna is one of the most inexpensive and easy protein sources you can incorporate into your diet. You can add it into salads, eat it on crackers, put it in casseroles, and the list goes on. This easy 5-minute tuna dip has been one of my go-to recipes for a quick, protein-packed snack or easy lunch lately. I think you’re going to love it!

  • Quick: Whip this easy lunch, quick snack, or appetizer up in only 5-minutes
  • Versatile: Serve this dip with veggies, crackers, or even use it as a tuna salad in a sandwich

Ingredients:

Tuna: You could make this recipe with plain flaked tuna in a can, or you can opt for one of the flavored varieties if you want a different spin to it. Tuna is a food rich in protein and contains many vitamins and minerals such as B-Complex vitamins, Vitamins A and D as well as iron, selenium and phosphorus.

Mayonnaise: If you want to omit mayo for a healthier alternative, I will sometimes swap some of the mayo for plain Greek yogurt.

How to make tuna dip:

  1. Mix together all of the ingredients until combined and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if desired. Enjoy immediately made into a sandwich with your favourite bread or as a wrap, or as a snack with crackers. Store in the fridge for up to two days.

  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh dill
  • 1/2 white or yellow small onion, diced (about 1/3 cup)
  • 2 dill pickles, diced
  • 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • juice of half a small lemon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
