Some will say baby photography wasn't popular back then or life just got in the way,it’s certainly gets busy when you have a new baby to look after and in some situations health comes first. During the pandemic, professional photographers were paused, leaving parents missing out on those unforgettable baby moments. Parents who visit my photography studio often share how sad they are knowing they dont have beautiful photos of their newborns to display and look back on.

When I was capturing images of my own babies, I faced challenges such as fatigue, reduced mobility post-birth after a C-section, and the constant need for nursing. Even as a professional photographer, it took me weeks to capture the perfect shots of my infants and it was months until I had enough time to edit them. The task became even more demanding with my second child, as I had to balance caring for a toddler and a newborn baby.

This choice removed the stress of posing my children together or worrying about my appearance in the pictures. I no longer had to struggle with setting timers for selfies to include myself with my babies in the photos. Witnessing someone else handle the photography session for me and my babies was a delightful experience. Every time I glance at those portraits displayed on my wall, they bring a smile to my face.
