A new Netflix movie is taking the streaming platform by storm as it spends its second consecutive week on top spot.
Getting to the top spot on Netflix is a big accomplishment and most people will be lucky to achieve it once in their life.
But for Jennifer Lopez, this is the second year running that she's achieved it, despite poor reviews.
Jennifer Lopez’s new Netflix sci-fi film Atlas has been the #1 streamed movie in America for two consecutive weeks, accumulating 119.4 million hours viewed so far, per World Of Reel.

This sci-fi film has amassed 59 million views in 12 days, with 31.6 million of those views coming this week alone.
The movie follows a brilliant counterterrorism analyst, played by Lopez, who harbors a deep distrust of AI but finds it might be her only hope when a mission to capture a renegade robot goes awry.
Notably, Lopez's The Mother was the most streamed Netflix film of 2023.
This trend is intriguing, suggesting a new type of movie star in the streaming era - actors who may not draw large crowds in theaters but are highly popular on streaming platforms.
At the time of writing, Atlas holds a score of 19 percent on Rotten Tomatoes with an audience score of 46 percent.

Johnny Oleksinski for the New York Post gave the movie one star, writing: "Like most of Netflix’s films outside of awards season, Atlas is a sluggish afterthought that settles for being just short of OK.
"The movie unearths nothing new in what is a very old story of man’s touch-and-go relationship with technology. It not so boldly goes where Star Trek has gone many times before.
"The filmmakers attempt to contribute some novelty with a controversial neural link device that connects people with AI to improve efficiency. That idea, while intriguing, is muddled and poorly explained."
Helen O'Hara for Empire wrote: "Lopez throws everything at this, but even major movie-star charisma can’t make up for the recycled story elements, tired exposition and endless psycho-babble."
Despite the negative reviews, there appears to be a consensus that Lopez's performance is particularly good.

Over the past few weeks, a handful of sources have spoken to multiple outlets about the superstar couple, alleging that they have been experiencing some difficulties in their marriage.
On May 16,TMZreported that Affleck had been staying at a home in Brentwood by himself, which was then later reportedly confirmed by sources who spoke toUs WeeklyandEntertainment Tonight.
