Certain frequencies of light that strike an object bounce through it, while others are absorbed by it. Only the frequencies that reflect or bounce back are visible to our sight. Sir Isaac Newton, a physicist, was the first to recognize the connection between color and light.

The recognition of what color is being perceived is definitely influenced by vision. Color perception is influenced by eyesight, light, and individual interpretation, therefore recognizing color requires understanding of physics, physiology, and psychology.

Importance

As one of the most obvious characteristics of any environment. Along with the aesthetic attractiveness of a location, colors may also have an effect on a person's mood, mental health, productivity, instruction, and behavior.

Color has an important role in many aspects of our lives, including interactions, psychology, marketing, and art. Color enhances the aesthetic value of objects, locations, and pictures, which is a powerful communication tool that makes it possible to convey thoughts, concepts, and feelings.
